The idea
Portfolioser is for showing who you are and what you make. Keep it something you'd be fine with anyone seeing, because anyone can. These guidelines apply to pages, server pages, usernames, uploads, music and links.
Not allowed
- Impersonation. Pretending to be another person, creator, brand or server, including fake staff roles or fake checks.
- Harassment and hate. Targeting people, threats, or attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or similar.
- Sexual content. Nudity or sexual content of any kind, and anything that sexualises minors, which we report to the authorities.
- Violence and self-harm. Gore, promoting violence, or encouraging self-harm.
- Scams and malware. Phishing, fake giveaways, token grabbers, malicious downloads, or links that hide where they go.
- Illegal stuff. Selling drugs, weapons, stolen accounts or anything else illegal.
- Other people's private info. Posting someone's address, real name, photos or other personal details without their permission.
- Stolen work. Uploading music, art, video or fonts you don't have the right to use.
- Spam and squatting. Pages made only to advertise, hold names, or game views and badges.
- Breaking Discord's rules through Portfolioser, such as selling Discord accounts or servers.
Server pages
Only claim servers you own. Only list staff who really are staff, and bots you or your team really made. Our team checks bots before they're verified, and we'll remove claims that aren't true.
What happens if you break them
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove the content, take away badges, hide your page, or suspend or delete your account. Serious cases, like anything involving child safety, are removed straight away and reported.
If your account is suspended, you'll see the reason when you sign in. If you think we got it wrong, appeal in our support server.
Reporting
See a page that breaks these rules? Use the flag button on it and pick a reason. Reports go straight to our core team. Copyright owners can ask for content to be removed by emailing support@portfolioser.com. Tell us which page and file it is, and show that you own the work.
